Chiyoda Corporation, NYK Line, and KNCC have established a partnership to advance carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects worldwide. This collaboration encompasses various stages of CCS development, targeting enhanced business opportunities in Japan and internationally.

Chiyoda Corporation, NYK Line, and Knutsen NYK Carbon Carriers (KNCC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on global carbon capture and storage (CCS) initiatives. The partnership will focus on developing CCS projects, including concept studies, feasibility assessments, and engineering work.
Each company will specialize in different aspects: Chiyoda will handle onshore terminal studies, NYK will focus on marine transportation, and KNCC will explore offshore transportation solutions. This initiative is expected to advance the commercialization of CCS and strengthen global carbon management strategies.
