Citi Launches FIX API for APAC ETF Clients via ACES Platform
Citi Investor Services has introduced FIX API connectivity for Asia Pacific ETF clients on its ACES platform, beginning in Australia. This move enhances operational efficiency and supports automation in ETF workflows, addressing the growing demand for streamlined processes in the sector.

Citi Investor Services has enabled FIX API connectivity for its Advanced Citi ETF System (ACES) platform, starting in Australia and set to expand to Hong Kong later in 2026. This integration allows Authorized Participants (APs) to place ETF orders and manage creations and redemptions directly, improving operational efficiency and promoting greater automation across ETF workflows.
The Asia Pacific ETF industry has reached $1.81 trillion in assets and could grow to $3 to $3.5 trillion by 2029. Citi's approach responds to demand for enhanced standardization and digitization in ETF management, reflecting its commitment to invest in the ETF servicing sector. As of Q1 2026, Citi reported over $31 trillion in Assets under Custody and Administration.
