CJ Logistics launched the Saudi Global Distribution Center (GDC) in Riyadh on February 12, 2026, to expand e-commerce logistics across the Middle East. The center, located in the Riyadh Special Integrated Logistics Zone at King Khalid International Airport, is designed to store, package, and clear customs for 20,000 parcels daily.
Built with a 60 billion won ($41 million) investment, the GDC utilizes advanced automation, including automated guided vehicles and a 'goods-to-person' system to enhance efficiency. This facility will serve regional markets including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Qatar, following a 2023 agreement with the Saudi civil aviation authority.
