CLIMATE POLICY, REGULATION & CARBON MARKETS

In a strategic move to bolster its leadership, Clean Energy Fuels Corp has appointed Marc de Guilhem de Lataillade and Aimeric Ramadier to its board of directors, effective immediately. Both executives, representing TotalEnergies, step in for outgoing directors Karine Boissy Rousseau and Mathieu Soulas, who have contributed to the board since 2021 and 2023, respectively.

Marc de Guilhem de Lataillade, currently the Vice President of Biogas within TotalEnergies' Gas Renewables and Power segment, brings a wealth of knowledge in renewable fuels. Aimeric Ramadier, who has recently taken on the role of Senior Representative USA for TotalEnergies, previously oversaw strategy and supply for the company's marketing services division. Their appointments come at a critical juncture as Clean Energy Fuels focuses on expanding its footprint in the renewable natural gas (RNG) sector.

Board Chairman Stephen Scully expressed confidence in the new directors, emphasizing their significant expertise aligning with the company’s mission to decarbonize transportation. “Marc and Aimeric both bring a wealth of experience in renewable fuels that will be invaluable as we continue to build momentum in the RNG market domestically,” he stated.

De Guilhem de Lataillade expressed enthusiasm for joining the board, highlighting the alignment between Clean Energy’s vision for a sustainable future and TotalEnergies’ approach to decarbonization. He looks forward to collaborating with fellow directors and the executive team to further develop the market.

Ramadier echoed this sentiment, expressing pride in contributing to Clean Energy’s growth strategy and his eagerness to promote the deployment of low-carbon fuels across North America. He aims to leverage his global perspective to advance the company's mission of fostering cleaner transportation solutions.

As Clean Energy Fuels Corp continues to operate fueling stations across the U.S. and Canada and develop RNG production facilities, the input of these seasoned professionals will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future in the renewable energy landscape.
