ClimeFi Launches Beyond 2030 RFP for 100,000-500,000 Tonnes of Durable Carbon Dioxide Removal
ClimeFi has initiated the Beyond 2030 request for proposals, seeking suppliers for durable carbon dioxide removal exceeding 2030. The procurement aims for 100,000-500,000 tonnes of carbon removals, with all CO2 removal pathways considered, provided they ensure permanence of at least 200 years. The RFP opened on March 18, 2026, and will accept proposals until April 8, 2026, with shortlisted suppliers notified in June 2026.

ClimeFi has launched its Beyond 2030 request for proposals (RFP) to secure durable carbon dioxide removal (CDR) for multiple corporate buyers, targeting commitments of 100,000-500,000 tonnes. The RFP, which opened on March 18, 2026, invites suppliers capable of providing CDR with a permanence of 200 years or more.
Questions from suppliers are due by March 27, 2026, with ClimeFi responding on April 1, 2026. Proposal submissions will be accepted until April 8, 2026, and shortlisted suppliers will be notified in June 2026. ClimeFi's previous procurement rounds exceeded expectations, securing over 500,000 tonnes of contracted durable carbon removal through 2035.
