Cloud's Mindsett Aims for £200 Million Valuation by 2025
Cloud's founder Jeff Dewing targets a £200 million valuation for the Mindsett IoT platform by 2025. Despite current challenges in securing global deals, the technology promises significant scalability and market potential.

Cloud, founded by Jeff Dewing in 2011, is aiming for a £200 million valuation of its IoT platform, Mindsett, by 2025. Currently, the company reports group revenue of £40.8 million for the year ending July 31, 2025, with a statutory EBITDA of £1.7 million.
Mindsett, developed in collaboration with the University of Essex, focuses on energy management and predictive maintenance. It employs 25 people and is currently engaged in a dozen trials globally. Dewing highlights the importance of large global deals for scaling but notes the lengthy negotiation process involved.
Interest from investors is noted, with potential valuations ranging from £150 million to £1 billion pending major contract wins. Mindsett holds a unique global patent, distinguishing it from competitors in the IoT space.
