CNTE Supplies Major Energy Storage System for Czech Republic's Modlany Energy Park
Contemporary Nebula Technology Energy Co., Ltd. (CNTE) has implemented its STAR T energy storage solution at the Modlany Energy Park, comprising a 37.95 MW/41.7 MWh battery system integrated with a 42.7 MW solar plant. This project is significant as it represents the largest completed battery storage installation in the Czech Republic, enhancing renewable energy integration and grid stability.

The Modlany Energy Park features CNTE's STAR T containerized energy storage system with 11 units, each rated at 3.45 MW/3.793 MWh. This project is strategically connected to a high-voltage substation, enabling fast-response frequency regulation and grid balancing, which is critical as the Czech Republic increases its renewable energy capacity.
The STAR T system's modular architecture allows for adaptable configurations tailored to specific operational requirements. Additionally, CNTE's involvement underscores its expanding footprint in the European energy storage market amid rising demand for efficient solutions. The project also demonstrates the potential for repurposing industrial land into renewable energy assets, thereby contributing to sustainability goals.
