Community Pub Tŷ'n Llan Receives North Wales Clean Energy Fund Grant
Tŷ'n Llan in Llandwrog secures funding from the £24.6m North Wales Clean Energy Fund to enhance sustainability efforts.

Tŷ'n Llan, a community pub in Llandwrog, Gwynedd, has received funding from the North Wales Clean Energy Fund to install renewable energy systems, including a ground source heat pump, solar panels, and EV charging points. The pub, which recently reopened after three years of closure, was purchased through a community share initiative.
The £24.6m Clean Energy Fund, launched by Ambition North Wales in 2025, aims to support local clean energy projects across North Wales. This investment not only aims to lower operational costs but also promotes sustainable practices and community engagement.
