Completion of HDD Works Advances Valla Urban Growth Area Development in New South Wales
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) for water and sewer infrastructure in the Valla Urban Growth Area (VUGA), New South Wales, is complete. Construction of an internal road connecting 14 industrial lots to Red Ash Road has begun. The project is funded by a total of $28.2 million from the Australian and NSW Governments and the Nambucca Valley Council. Future work includes the installation of additional utilities and a sewage pump station, with land sales expected to commence in mid to late 2026.

The Valla Urban Growth Area (VUGA) in New South Wales has completed horizontal directional drilling (HDD) for water and sewer trunk mains. Construction of a connecting internal road to Red Ash Road is underway, serving 14 large-scale industrial lots.
The project involves $11.2 million from the Australian and NSW Governments and a $17 million contribution from the Nambucca Valley Council. Remaining work includes laying 600 metres of stormwater drainage and 660 metres of watermain.
A sewage pump station construction will start soon. Land sales for Stage One are anticipated from mid to late 2026.
