On May 23, a compressor explosion occurred at a factory in the GT Karnal Road Industrial Area of northwest Delhi, injuring two workers, Arvind (35) and Santosh (50). The police were notified at 9:50 AM after the injured were admitted to Vinayak Hospital.
Preliminary investigations indicate the blast happened during operational activities within the facility. Both injured workers are reported to be out of danger with non-serious injuries. Forensic teams are conducting further investigations while no significant disturbances or crowding were reported following the incident. Legal action is in progress against the factory management.
