Costco Plans 2027 Opening at Seacoast Landing in Newington, NH
Costco aims to open a membership warehouse and fuel station in Newington, NH, by November 2027, pending approvals. This development marks the first tenant at the Seacoast Landing project, which includes extensive infrastructure upgrades funded through a proposed tax increment financing district.
Costco plans to establish a 152,000-square-foot membership warehouse at Seacoast Landing, which will also feature an 820-space parking area, a tire center, and a 16-pump fuel station. The anticipated opening is set for November 2027, contingent on local land-use and permitting approvals.
A tax increment financing (TIF) district, proposed for public funding of $9 million in infrastructure enhancements, will be voted on in a special meeting on May 30. The TIF district would utilize future tax revenues to support the development surrounding the former Mall at Fox Run site.
Construction is expected to begin with site demolition on June 1, 2026, followed by Costco's build-out, which typically takes less than five months. Other planned developments include medical office space and additional retail units.
