Councillors Urge Severn Trent to Invest in Scunthorpe Sewage System to Support Development

Severn Trent has announced plans to invest £186m in its waste network by 2030, with £21m already allocated to the Scunthorpe-Yaddlethorpe Sewage Treatment Works. Assessments confirm the treatment works can accommodate planned developments beyond 2033, with further reviews of capacity and investment scheduled for 2028.
