Deben Leisure Centre in Woodbridge will close its swimming pool and health suite from April 6 to July 13 for eco-friendly upgrades aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The project, funded by a government grant, includes installing an electric air source heat pump and a solar-panelled car port.

During this period, customers will have to use alternative Places Leisure sites. Memberships will remain valid, but some users are calling for reduced fees due to the loss of amenities and expressed concerns over insufficient notice regarding the closure.
