Da Nang Initiates Japanese-Style Agricultural Development Plan for 2026-30
Da Nang City plans to establish high-quality agricultural zones aligned with Japanese standards from 2026 to 2030. This initiative aims to enhance productivity through advanced technologies and promote agricultural exports to Japan, supporting local economic growth.

Da Nang City has approved a plan to foster agricultural development in partnership with Japanese investors for the 2026-30 period. The focus will be on creating specialized farming areas that meet Japanese agricultural standards, with a goal to build a robust market system for farm produce.
By early 2026, Japanese investment in Da Nang had reached $1.22 billion across 301 projects. In 2025, exports to Japan totaled approximately $1 billion, while imports were about $488 million. The initiative includes promoting automation, smart farming, and biotechnology to enhance productivity and sustainability. This strategic shift could significantly impact local agricultural practices and export potential.
