Daegu City Secures KRW 29.5 Billion Investment for New Manufacturing Plants by Cheonil Techwin and Daewon SD
Daegu Metropolitan City has signed an MOU with Cheonil Techwin and Daewon SD, securing a total investment of KRW 29.5 billion for new manufacturing facilities in the Daegu National Industrial Complex. Construction is set to begin in the first half of 2025, aiming to create 46 new jobs.
Cheonil Techwin will invest KRW 17.2 billion to establish a factory on a 12,890㎡ site, focusing on high-voltage wiring harness components for electric vehicles and solar smart junction boxes. Daewon SD will invest KRW 12.3 billion to build an automotive automation control equipment manufacturing plant, complementing its existing operations in Pyeongtaek and Chilgok. Both companies emphasize their commitment to strengthening market competitiveness and contribute to local economic revitalization.
