Daikin-Rechi India Pvt. Ltd. has commenced construction of its rotary compressor manufacturing facility in Sri City, India, with an investment of ₹547 crore. This joint venture between Daikin Air-conditioning India Pvt.

Ltd. and Rechi Precision Co. Ltd. will create approximately 500 direct jobs. The plant will occupy 33.10 acres with a built-up area of 1.33 lakh square meters and will be developed in three phases.

Phase I will establish production lines with an initial capacity of 2 million rotary compressors per year, scalable to 9 million units. The compressors will serve domestic air-conditioner brands and expand to exports later. The project aligns with the 'Make in India' initiative and aims to strengthen the HVAC manufacturing ecosystem.
