Danvan and Grau Engineering Launch End-of-Line Automation System for AGF Sector at Fruit Logistica 2026

INDUSTRIAL IOT

At Fruit Logistica 2026, Danvan and Grau Engineering introduced a new end-of-line automation system designed to automate repetitive manual tasks in the fruit and vegetable supply chain. This compact and easily integrable solution combines picking, packing, and palletizing in a plug-and-produce unit.

Utilizing technology from 4XROBOTS and Universal Robots, the system operates without safety barriers and can be managed by a single operator. The live demonstration featured cucumbers but is adaptable for various produce.

The process involves unfolding standard Euro Pool crates, with the 4XROBOT picking cucumbers from rotating input tables and placing them in crates, while a Universal Robot palletizes filled crates. The system aims to enhance efficiency, reduce manual handling, and maintain consistent packaging levels amidst labor shortages in the AGF sector. Following the exhibition, the model will be installed for immediate use by a grower.
