Dassault Systèmes announced the winners of the 2026 AAKRUTI international student design competition at 3DEXPERIENCE World in Houston. The competition involved 12 teams from India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, and the U.K., focusing on sustainable solutions in healthcare, mobility, and green energy.

Team UJ Wom+n in Tech from the University of Johannesburg won for their pedal-powered breast pump. Other finalists included a child-friendly device for injections, a targeted cancer treatment, and a communication kit for individuals with aphasia. Prizes totaled $10,000, with all participants receiving a SOLIDWORKS license.
