DeepInfra Launches First International Data Center in Toronto
DeepInfra has launched its first data center outside the U.S. in Toronto, enhancing AI inference capabilities. This expansion addresses growing demand for specialized computing power as businesses transition from experimentation to production.

DeepInfra opened a 1.7-megawatt data center in Toronto on July 8, its first outside the United States, featuring over 1,000 Nvidia Blackwell B300 chips. This facility, the ninth in its fleet, allows Canadian clients to maintain data residency and caters to rising demand for AI inference, which is projected to account for over 40% of total data-center demand by 2030.
DeepInfra's processing capacity has surged, handling close to five trillion tokens weekly. Funded by a $107 million Series B round, including Nvidia and other investors, the Toronto center signals an intention to compete geographically. However, reliance on premium hardware poses supply chain risks, and further expansions depend on sustained demand.
