DEER Secures 98 Million Lei for ADMS Implementation and System Modernization
Distributie Energie Electrica Romania (DEER) has signed a contract valued at approximately 97.9 million lei for modernizing its control systems. This project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund, aims to enhance the electricity distribution network's efficiency and integrate renewable energy sources.

Distributie Energie Electrica Romania (DEER) has finalized a contract worth around 97.9 million lei to implement an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). This initiative is part of the Sustainable Development Programme and aims to modernize operational systems across 18 counties, enhancing SCADA functionalities for improved network visibility and service quality.
The project is backed by 83.211 million lei from the European Regional Development Fund and 14.684 million lei from the national budget. The implementation of the ADMS will facilitate better integration of renewable energy sources and contribute to energy efficiency and carbon emissions reduction, aligning with national and European decarbonization goals.
