DLA Energy Implements Oxygen Supply System at Moody Air Force Base
DLA Energy has established a new turnkey oxygen supply system for Moody Air Force Base, addressing logistical challenges arising from pandemic-induced shortages. This initiative enhances the supply chain for aviator oxygen, ensuring operational continuity for military flight operations.

DLA Energy has successfully delivered a turnkey oxygen transport system to Moody Air Force Base, a project initiated in response to supply chain disruptions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project was prompted by increased oxygen demand, which diverted resources and extended delivery lead times.
DLA Energy partnered with Katmai and Maytag to facilitate cryogenic transport after traditional suppliers declined the contract. The project team included personnel managing customer coordination, quality control, and operational requirements. Training for the 23rd Logistics Readiness Squadron staff on operational procedures was provided, and the system is now operational, enhancing military readiness and resilience in oxygen supply.
