DMCI Holdings Reports 26% Profit Increase Driven by Mining and Cement
DMCI Holdings Inc. achieved a 26% rise in net income to ₱11.4 billion in H1 2026, attributed to robust nickel mining and reduced cement losses. This growth was sufficient to counterbalance decreased contributions from energy and water utility segments.

For the first half of 2026, DMCI Holdings Inc. reported a consolidated net income of ₱11.4 billion, a 26% increase year-on-year. Consolidated revenues reached ₱67.5 billion, a 10% rise, driven by higher prices and volumes in electricity, cement, and nickel.
DMCI Mining Corp. posted record net income of ₱1.74 billion, up 130%, while Concreat Holdings narrowed its loss by 83% to ₱207 million. The real estate segment saw profits rise to ₱2.33 billion, reflecting improved sales.
Semirara Mining and Power Corp. experienced a minor decline in overall contributions but saw a 17% rebound in Q2. Maynilad Water Services Inc. reported a 20% decrease in its contribution, linked to reduced ownership post-IPO. The results indicate resilience amid mixed sector performance, highlighting risks associated with energy and water utility investments.
