DMG MORI Federal Services will establish a new R&D facility in Chicago, Illinois, with an investment exceeding $40.5 million, which is expected to generate 74 jobs. The facility will consist of 25,000 square feet for office use and 65,000 square feet dedicated to advanced manufacturing.

Supported by Illinois' EDGE program, the project aims to expand R&D capabilities in North America and promote innovation in additive manufacturing and automation technologies. DMG MORI is also collaborating with City Colleges of Chicago to enhance talent pipelines in the manufacturing sector.
