Doosan Robotics and Kwangjin Group Partner to Deploy Over 100 Factory Robots by 2027
Doosan Robotics has partnered with Kwangjin Group to deploy more than 100 robots in global manufacturing plants by 2027. The collaboration follows a zero-defect achievement in certain production lines and marks a significant move towards AI-powered factory automation in the automotive industry. This strategic partnership includes the development of customized robotic systems and optimization of factory environments, emphasizing the shift towards intelligent production ecosystems.

Doosan Robotics and Kwangjin Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deploy over 100 manufacturing robots globally by 2027. The partnership, announced on March 9 in Seongnam, South Korea, aims to enhance automation across Kwangjin's operations, particularly in assembly, inspection, and riveting processes.
The collaboration is driven by Kwangjin's recent zero-defect production results with Doosan's robots, highlighting a shift towards quality control in manufacturing. Future plans include a joint task force for customized robotic solutions and phased automation strategies, reflecting a broader trend of integrating AI and collaborative robots into manufacturing.
