Doosan Robotics to Supply Over 100 Robots to Kwangjin Group for Automotive Manufacturing Automation
Doosan Robotics has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kwangjin Group to supply over 100 manufacturing robots by 2027. The partnership focuses on enhancing automation in automotive component production, with current deployment including robots in window regulator and door module manufacturing lines. The initial delivery of eight robots will increase the total to 19 by May 2026. The collaboration aims to improve product quality, reduce defect rates, and develop customized robotic solutions for various manufacturing processes.

Doosan Robotics has partnered with Kwangjin Group to supply over 100 manufacturing robots by 2027, aiming to enhance automation in automotive parts production. The memorandum of understanding includes the delivery of eight additional robots by May 2026, increasing the total deployed robots to 19.
Currently, Doosan's robots are used in Kwangjin's window regulator assembly and door module manufacturing. The partnership is driven by a zero defect rate observed after robot implementation, improving productivity and product quality. Both companies will develop customized robotic solutions and establish a joint working group for phased robot deployment and automation expansion.
