Doppstadt and RTT Launch IMS 2 Semi-Mobile Sensor Sorter at IFAT 2026
Doppstadt and RTT System GmbH have unveiled the IMS 2 semi-mobile sensor sorter, enhancing waste processing efficiency. This innovation addresses the market gap in sorting mixed construction, commercial, and bulky waste streams.

Doppstadt and RTT System GmbH have developed the IMS 2 semi-mobile sensor sorter, set to debut at IFAT 2026 in Munich. This solution integrates advanced sorting technology and modular design, featuring four detection methods including NIR sensors and AI analysis for material identification.
Unlike traditional methods, the IMS 2 eliminates wastewater disposal and reduces labor in post-processing, offering a 'Plug & Play' integration with Doppstadt's Mobile Modular Processing Concept (MMPC). This innovation aims to provide a cost-effective alternative to stationary systems, enhancing profitability and efficiency in waste management. The collaboration underscores a strategic partnership leveraging automation expertise and machinery knowledge, with an emphasis on economic advantages.
