DXC Technology Secures Up to £1B Contract with Metropolitan Police
DXC Technology has been awarded a contract with the Metropolitan Police Service valued at up to £1 billion to implement and manage a new Oracle ERP system. This strategic partnership aims to enhance business process outsourcing services and streamline operations across multiple organizations.

DXC Technology, operating as EntServ UK Limited, has secured a contract with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) with a potential value of £1 billion to develop and manage a new Oracle ERP system. This initiative will also include business process outsourcing services under Met Business Services (MBS), supporting various related organizations.
The contract entails migrating from the Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion SaaS, aimed at optimizing service delivery across HR, finance, and commercial operations over an estimated ten-year term. The MPS budget was around £3.8 billion last year, and the transition is projected to enhance automation and efficiency significantly.
The previous contract, with Shared Services Connected Limited (SSCL), was valued at £428.5 million and is set to conclude in 2027. The strategic shift to a cloud-based solution addresses the complexities of the existing system, which relies on numerous interfaces.
