E3 Lithium Advances to Phase 2 of Demonstration Facility for Battery-Grade Lithium Production
E3 Lithium is set to commence Phase 2 operations at its demonstration facility in Alberta, pending necessary licensing. This phase aims to gather critical technical data for the Clearwater Project's feasibility study, which targets the production of battery-grade lithium carbonate.

E3 Lithium has completed well development and pump installation at its demonstration facility in Alberta and is awaiting a license to begin Phase 2 operations, expected to last 8-12 weeks. The primary objectives of this phase include conducting a reservoir production test and collecting water and gas chemistry data to inform the Reservoir Development Plan.
This data will be crucial for designing the inlet and gas separation for the commercial facility and completing the feasibility study for the Clearwater Project, which aims to produce 12,000 tonnes per year of lithium carbonate. In parallel, E3 is preparing for Phase 3, which will validate Direct Lithium Extraction technology at a commercial scale and produce nearly 100 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent. Funding from Emissions Reduction Alberta and the Government of Canada supports this initiative, establishing a foundation for future project financing.
