Evolving Brilliance Technologies Sdn Bhd (EB Tech) won the Malaysia-Japan Fast Track Pitch 2025 Innovation Challenge, specifically under IHI Corporation Challenge #2 for Forest Natural Capital Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV). The company presented its digital MRV (dMRV) and carbon intelligence platform, which integrates with IHI's NeXT FOREST initiative.

This collaboration aims to create reliable carbon credits using advanced satellite and geospatial technology. Following the award, EB Tech plans to explore a proof of concept in Sarawak that uses AI for land asset governance and carbon project development. The initiative received proposals from 111 start-ups, with 14 selected for the final pitch in Kuala Lumpur.
