EdgeConneX Plans $4 Billion Debt Raise for Texas Data Center Project
EdgeConneX Inc. aims to secure $4 billion in debt to fund the Cedar Creek data center in Texas. This project, supported by EQT Infrastructure, could significantly expand EdgeConneX's capacity, enhancing its presence in the cloud infrastructure market.

EdgeConneX Inc. is in preliminary discussions to raise up to $4 billion in debt for its Cedar Creek data center project in Bastrop County, Texas. The company is evaluating various debt markets, with a potential private placement targeting institutional investors through the 144A market.
CoreWeave Inc., a cloud infrastructure provider, is expected to be a tenant in this facility. EdgeConneX operates over 80 data centers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia and was acquired by EQT Infrastructure in 2020. The project may bolster EdgeConneX's market position and respond to growing demand for data center services.
