Egypt's cabinet approved executive regulations for Law 168 of 2025, governing the disposal of state-owned land. The new rules allow the sale, lease, or right-of-use of land to occupants who built on properties before October 15, 2023, under certain conditions.

The cabinet also expanded the National AI Council's mandate to include quantum computing and emerging technologies, aiming to establish regulatory frameworks for these areas. The council authorized the allocation of 823 feddans in North Sinai for Arish Airport development and 370.48 feddans in Beni Suef for industrial investment.

Additionally, the Export Development Fund will facilitate payments for exports made before July 1, 2024.
