Eight Buildings in Kyiv Flooded with Hot Water for Two Months Due to Heating Network Break
For two months, eight buildings in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district have been flooded with hot water from a heating network break. Despite repeated appeals to utility services, the flooding remains unresolved. The owner of HEDONIST Bar&Kitchen reported significant damage and ongoing issues with water accumulation, exacerbated by power outages affecting pumping operations.

Eight buildings in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district have experienced flooding with hot water for two months due to a break in the heating network. The flooding began on December 2, 2025, impacting the HEDONIST Bar&Kitchen, which has suffered damage and equipment loss.
Although municipal services acknowledged the issue, no effective action has been taken. The bar owner, Sviatoslav Ivchenko, reports ongoing flooding and difficulties in pumping out water due to frequent power outages. Attempts to resolve the problem through official channels have been unsuccessful, leaving the establishment to manage the situation independently.
