Elevra Lithium Reports Record NAL Tonnages and Improved Earnings for FY2026
Elevra Lithium achieved a record 1.47 million tonnes mined at the NAL mine in FY2026, with EBITDA rising to $14 million. This performance is significant for the lithium sector, demonstrating the company's operational resilience and growth potential amid industry challenges.

In FY2026, Elevra Lithium mined 1.47 million tonnes of ore at the North American Lithium (NAL) mine, achieving spodumene concentrate production of 197,967 tonnes. Despite a 14% increase in mined tonnages year-on-year, spodumene production decreased by 3% due to lower grades from adverse conditions, which were mitigated through improved mine planning.
The company recorded spodumene concentrate sales of 181,494 tonnes, with average lithium recoveries of 67% and plant utilization at 91%. Underlying EBITDA reached $14 million, reflecting a $57 million improvement from the prior year, with total group profit after tax increasing by $292 million to $44 million.
Elevra ended the year with a cash balance of $255 million after raising $202 million for expansion projects in Québec. Risks remain in managing production consistency and market volatility.
