Elixir Aircraft Unveils Elixir+ Trainer at Aero Friedrichshafen
Elixir Aircraft has launched the Elixir+ two-seat trainer, incorporating various enhancements for flight training. Global Aviation has placed an order for five units to support its VFR training operations.

Elixir Aircraft introduced the Elixir+ two-seat trainer at Aero Friedrichshafen, featuring upgrades like a redesigned pump system, enhanced landing gear, and increased wingspan from 8.48 m to 8.94 m. Greece-based flight school Global Aviation has ordered five Elixir+ aircraft for VFR training at Ikaros Airport, which they acquired in 2021.
The company was founded in 2015 and has over 300 orders for its aircraft, which includes 55 currently operational units certified by EASA and FAA. Elixir is also expanding with new facilities in La Rochelle, France, and Sarasota, Florida. The enhancements aim to address customer feedback and improve suitability for flight schools, potentially increasing market competitiveness.
