Embraer Signs AHEAD Agreement with Virgin Australia for E2 Fleet Predictive Maintenance

INDUSTRIAL IOT

Embraer has signed a long-term agreement with Virgin Australia to implement the AHEAD (Aircraft Health Analysis and Diagnosis) system on its E2 fleet. This system enables digital predictive maintenance, allowing Virgin Australia to identify and predict potential issues before they occur.

Virgin Australia has eight firm orders for E2 jets and has received two deliveries. The AHEAD tool aims to enhance operational performance by reducing unscheduled downtime and lowering maintenance costs. Embraer has delivered over 9,000 aircraft since its founding in 1969.
