Emergency Knesset Meeting on Arrow 3 Interceptor Shortage Initiated
The Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will address Israel's shortage of Arrow 3 interceptors following rising tensions with Iran. This meeting, called by Likud MK Boaz Bismuth, responds to concerns over inadequate funding for defense amid missile threats.

An emergency meeting of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee will be convened to discuss Israel's limited Arrow 3 interceptors. Following a letter signed by over a third of the committee members, concerns were raised regarding the lack of funding for these interceptors amid escalating threats from Iran, including recent ballistic missile attacks.
Lawmakers are seeking to summon Defense Minister Israel Katz and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich to address the issue. The Arrow 3 system is crucial for intercepting long-range ballistic missiles and has not seen an increase in production despite ongoing risks. This situation may impact Israel's defense readiness and strategic position in the region.
