The E|MPower project focused on Automated Manufacturing Processes for Electric Road Systems aimed at electrifying heavy-duty transport. Directed by FAU's Institute for Factory Automation and Production Systems, the project involved partners such as Electreon Germany GmbH and Autobahn GmbH des Bundes.

Funded by the former BMWK as part of the Electromobility Funding Program, the project was supervised by the DLR. The successful completion of the test track on Autobahn A6 was achieved through collaboration among all partners during planning, construction, testing, and evaluation phases.
