ENGIE Energía Perú Opens Remote Control Operations Center in Lima
ENGIE Energía Perú has launched a Remote Control Operations Center in Lima to manage renewable generation and transmission assets nationwide. The center currently oversees six plants with a total capacity of 618 MW and aims to scale operations to 1,200 MW by 2030.

The newly inaugurated Remote Control Operations Center in Lima allows ENGIE Energía Perú to manage its renewable generation and transmission assets more effectively. Currently, the center monitors six facilities totaling 618 MW and over 600 kilometers of transmission lines.
Designed for future expansion, it aims to handle up to 1,200 MW by 2030, aligning with the company's strategy for growth in energy transition. The integration of control systems into a centralized SCADA platform enhances real-time monitoring and decision-making efficiency. This operational upgrade may position ENGIE as a more competitive player in the energy sector.
