Enhanced Energy Management with Power Electronics and Beckhoff Solutions
Power Electronics has optimized energy management systems through advanced automation and control technology, achieving rapid response times. This innovation allows operators to increase energy supply and enhance profitability in compliance with global energy regulations.

Power Electronics has developed a system utilizing multiple Power Blocks, each monitored by a Battery Controller Interface (BCI) based on PC-based Control. The system includes inverters and DC/DC converters for solar and battery operations, allowing for bidirectional energy supply.
The central Power Plant Controller (PPC) coordinates these blocks, enabling compliance with diverse energy regulations. Recent advancements have improved response times from 130 ms to 110 ms for shifting power consumption.
The embedded PCs from Beckhoff, such as CX series with TwinCAT 3 PLC, facilitate complex control algorithms and remote monitoring. Future upgrades are anticipated to require enhanced processing capabilities, achievable by transitioning to more powerful embedded PCs. The integration of open operating systems enables communication with SCADA systems and efficient data management.
