Entergy and MHI Group aim to develop a roadmap for a 50% reduction in costs associated with carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies through a newly signed memorandum of understanding (MOU). This collaboration leverages Entergy's operational proximity to the largest carbon dioxide pipeline network in the U.S. and MHI Group's expertise in gas turbines and CCS solutions.
The initiative focuses on the deployment of integrated GTCC and CCS technologies to support low-carbon energy generation. The partnership is positioned to enhance project economics and reliability in the energy sector.
