E.ON Engages Capsol for Carbon Capture Feasibility Study in Sweden
E.ON has contracted Capsol Technologies ASA to conduct a feasibility study for carbon capture at its Norrköping facility. This project aims to evaluate the implementation of technology capable of capturing up to 500,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, aligning with E.ON's decarbonization strategy.

E.ON has selected Capsol Technologies ASA to execute a feasibility study assessing carbon capture solutions for its biomass and waste-to-energy operations in Norrköping, Sweden. The project will explore the deployment of technology with a potential capture capacity of 500,000 tonnes of CO2 per year, collaborating with a strategic engineering partner.
Capsol's successful bid was made through a competitive tender process, reflecting its experience in similar projects. This study supports E.ON's broader efforts toward decarbonization and positions Capsol favorably in the increasing market for carbon capture in biomass and waste-to-energy applications.
