Epiroc has signed an agreement to acquire Eventspec Proprietary, a mining aftermarket solutions provider located in Johannesburg, South Africa. This acquisition is intended to enhance Epiroc's manufacturing capabilities and expand its product offerings in the African market.

The new acquisition will be integrated into the Equipment & Service Business Area and will contribute to the Service revenue stream. The transaction is scheduled to be finalized in Q3 2026, pending regulatory approvals. Epiroc is focused on developing equipment for surface and underground applications and offers a range of services, including automation, digitalization, and electrification solutions.
