EuroHPC Initiates Four New Calls for Quantum Technology Development
EuroHPC JU has launched four funding calls to enhance quantum technology innovation in Europe, with total budgets of EUR 19 million. This initiative aims to strengthen Europe's position in quantum computing, machine learning, and standardization, addressing key challenges in the sector.

The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has opened four calls for projects to advance quantum technologies, collectively offering EUR 19 million in funding. One call focuses on quantum sensors for inertial navigation with a budget of EUR 2 million, while another targets photonic quantum computing platforms with EUR 10 million.
A third call aims to develop standards for quantum technologies, allocating EUR 1 million, and the final initiative is for Quantum Machine Learning, providing EUR 6 million. Each call has specific submission deadlines and project durations ranging from six months to four years. These efforts are crucial for enhancing Europe's capabilities and ensuring interoperability in quantum systems.
