Evanston Water Main Repairs Scheduled for James Park Starting June 26
Evanston will initiate water main repairs in James Park from June 26 to July 10, impacting park facilities temporarily. The project addresses a faulty valve and water main, crucial for the park's irrigation and drinking water systems.

Beginning June 26, the City of Evanston will conduct water main repairs in James Park, focusing on the replacement of a malfunctioning valve and water main for the park's irrigation and drinking systems. The construction period is set to last until July 10, during which time park access will be maintained; however, there may be temporary closures of restrooms and drinking fountains, as well as limited parking in the field house lot.
Bolder Contractors, LLC, based in Cary, has been contracted for this project, which is overseen by the City's Capital Planning & Engineering Bureau. The construction may cause disruptions, and affected parking areas will be clearly marked.
