The Fairfield Town Council approved the fiscal 2027 budget for Crossroads-TV and the Sewer Enterprise Budget during its recent meeting. Significant expenditures included $153,731 for roof repairs at the Fairfield Community Center, with G&E Roofing Co.
Inc. awarded the contract. Additionally, $13,208.77 was allocated from the Fire Department's Capital Equipment Reserve Account for repairs to Engine 3's pump. The council also discussed the town's 250th anniversary celebration scheduled for July 10-11, seeking volunteers and confirming event details.
Contingency funds were authorized for potential budget overruns through June 30, 2026. The next council meeting is set for July 8.
