Farm 360 has commenced a tree planting initiative, training 23 women in Moringa seedling nursing at Adelakope, Eastern Region. The program aims to plant over one million trees in Ghana's cocoa belt by 2030, with a goal of 50,000 trees by 2025 and 100,000 by 2026.
This environmental campaign, in partnership with Barka Capital Funds, includes various crops like moringa, coconut, cocoa, and rubber. The initiative seeks to improve soil quality, enhance carbon capture, and create economic opportunities, particularly for women and young people, targeting 40-50% female participation. The project is supported by partners including the Bezos Earth Fund and the World Resources Institute.
