Flexport to Create 300 Jobs at New Fulfillment Center in Pleasant Prairie
Flexport Inc. will open a 336,840-square-foot fulfillment center in Pleasant Prairie, generating 300 full-time jobs starting August 2026. This development follows the closure of a Kroger facility, which left over 200 employees unemployed.

Flexport Inc. plans to establish a fulfillment center in Pleasant Prairie, occupying a facility of 336,840 square feet at 9091 88th Ave., set to open in August 2026. The center will create 300 full-time positions, split into two shifts of 150 employees each, and will handle warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, and distribution around the clock.
Village approvals were obtained for the site, formerly occupied by Kroger, which ceased operations in November 2025. Potential traffic impacts during delivery hours are acknowledged, with proposed mitigation strategies including delivery windows and on-site traffic management. Internal modifications to the building will include removing specific systems and reconfiguring automation without altering the exterior.
