Flosonics Medical Secures Vizient Innovative Technology Contract for FloPatch Wearable Doppler Ultrasound
Flosonics Medical's FloPatch wearable Doppler ultrasound device has been awarded an Innovative Technology contract from Vizient. This device is designed to measure real-time blood flow to assist clinicians in making timely treatment decisions, particularly in sepsis care. The contract was granted after evaluation by Vizient's client-led councils, recognizing FloPatch's potential to enhance fluid management and patient outcomes.

Flosonics Medical's FloPatch, a wearable Doppler ultrasound device, received an Innovative Technology contract from Vizient, the largest provider-driven healthcare performance improvement company in the U.S. The contract follows a review by hospital experts who noted FloPatch's ability to improve fluid management decisions in sepsis care.
It is the first FDA-approved wireless device for assessing blood flow, providing real-time hemodynamic data to guide intravenous fluid management. FloPatch can be used by any clinician, making it scalable across health systems and supporting compliance with sepsis protocols. The technology aims to reduce the need for mechanical ventilation and ICU stays while improving patient outcomes.
