Flux, officially Defy Gravity Inc., has raised $37 million to enhance its AI platform for printed circuit board (PCB) development. The funding includes a Series B round led by 8VC and a seed round of $10 million from Outsiders Fund and Bain Capital Ventures.

The platform allows users to design PCBs with specific prompts, handle interoperability challenges, and suggest alternative components if items are out of stock. It also aids in firmware development by simplifying the understanding of hardware properties and automating coding tasks. Flux aims to reduce design costs and empower non-experts in hardware creation.
