Fort St. James Initiates 2026 Exploration at Porcupine Property, Targeting Historic Zinc and Copper Intercepts
Fort St. James Nickel Corp. has launched a 2026 exploration program at its Porcupine Property in New Brunswick, focusing on areas with historic soil and geophysical anomalies. This initiative aims to identify high-grade mineralization of zinc, copper, lead, and silver, potentially enhancing resource recovery in the region.

Fort St. James Nickel Corp. (TSXV: FTJ) has commenced a prospecting and rock geochemical sampling program at its Porcupine Property in New Brunswick, targeting areas with historic mineralization and geochemical anomalies.
The program focuses on the central and northern regions, particularly areas recently cleared of timber, where previous work indicated significant soil anomalies for zinc, lead, and copper. Notably, past drilling in 2018 revealed base metal and silver mineralization, with core samples showing high concentrations of these metals.
FTJ plans to analyze samples from the current program at an independent laboratory, which may validate the potential for further resource extraction in the area. Continued exploration could lead to enhanced understanding of the mineral potential, impacting future operational decisions.
